Description

Alive in Christ by Clint Bryan & Monty Hipp.
731-530 Value pack of 8 courses

Produced especially for Youth Alive campus ministry, Alive in Christ is the first in a series of non-denominational follow-up pieces designed to nurture new Christians.

RESOURCE APPLICATION: Meant to be taught to new believers by committed Christian young people. New converts work through each book at their own pace. Discipleship occurs as students talk about questions new converts may have.

Biographies.

Few things challenge and motivate teens as well as heroes. By intentionally presenting godly heroes to teens, you increase the chances of your teens choosing to emulate these great men and women rather than the media “heroes” of today. Valuable lessons in character and priorities can be taught through biographies.

RESOURCE APPLICATION: Will need to select biographies for distribution. Best used as an individual approach. Retreats, one-on-one discipleship, summer project. The GPH catalog or your local Christian bookstore has a great variety of biographies to choose from. Be sure to prioritize spiritual character rather than human accomplishment in selecting biographies. However, this is a process. You may want to start a student with a Christian hero in their area of interest (sports, music. etc) before moving toward deeper characters.
