"A disciple-making church intentionally provides a process that includes people in its shpere of care, causing them to desire to become believers, establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ and His body, the local church. They make a commitment to membership."

The Book of Hope is an inexpensive presentation of the Gospel of John formatted for a youth audience and includes special art and Scripture pages to present the message of the Gospel effectively.

RESOURCE APPLICATION: This is a distribution piece. Great for outreach.

District Youth Conventions and Camps.

These district events have multiple purposes and multiple benefit. For the unconverted, such events provide an extended setting for friendships to be built and needs to be addressed. Such events are quite effective in establishing inclusion into a youth group.

RESOURCE APPLICATION: Be well-rested. These events are typically a week or weekend in duration. Setting is provided.

Quest for Freedom is a pop/rock full length music audiocassette designed to present God’s plan of salvation to a non-Christian listener. The Quest for Freedom booklet teaches teens to share their faith and gives practical suggestions for using the audiotape. The booklet also contains bulk order information for the audiotapes.

A study and discussion tool for youth groups, weekend retreats, camps, and one-on-one counseling. Helps teens feel good about themselves and accept Christ’s forgiving love. RESOURCE APPLICATION: Depends on how used. As a general rule requires 1 hour preparation for 1 hour of use. Can be done in 1 hour segments but schedule should be flexible, not forced. Retreats, camps or one-on-one.

These main areas are covered: 1) Focused discipleship for special needs such as drug addictions, alcoholism, eating disorders, sexual addictions, etc. 2) General discipleship that focuses on felt needs. 3) Friend-to-friend evangelism.

RESOURCE APPLICATION: Plan to give 3-4 hours preparation for each hour of meeting. Plan for 6-13 sessions depending on which materials you choose. Can be done in a 2 day seminar or weekly class.
