Identify 3 to 5 ministries/programs you will use to help your people
in your church reach each base of the Diamond of Spiritual Growth.
Identify
the primary ministry you will use to help people reach each base.
Although several ministries may help to develop people at each stage
of their spiritual development, effective churches focus on a primary
ministry/strategy at each stage. This primary ministry provides the
backbone for spiritual development at the particular base and keeps
the church's energies and resources focused. The other ministries
used at each base help to support and strengthen the primary ministry.
Circle the primary ministry you will use at each base for the spiritual
development of people in your church.
Place
the bases in order of effectiveness in moving people to spiritual development.
Judging effectiveness of ministry can be hard. Here are a few keys
that can help you make these decisions.
Develop
ministries for your least effective base. Build one base at a time.
Select
resources that will help you accomplish your ministry priorities.
Since every church is different and unique, you must use the resources
and strategies that work in your setting. Once you have selected
your resource or strategy, adapt it to work in your situation.
